After high school I went to USC on scholarship majoring in Music Ed and I later got my teaching credential from UCLA where I met my husband Allan. So I’m an Aztec, a Trojan and a Bruin. Allan and I have been married 43 years and have twin daughters. One is a reality-TV show producer living in New York and the other works for the US General Accountability Office in the international division doing reports for Congress. She also runs marathons. My career included teaching Choral Music, Show Choir, Music Appreciation, English, Drama, Musical Theater and Piano in both Junior and Senior high schools in LA and Orange County, CA. Several of my Broadway productions won first place awards in Junior High drama competitions. I retired in 2009 and am currently enjoying various craft hobbies plus a lot of travel with my husband.
